Where are you located?

Hi there! I live in sunny Los Angeles just 5 minutes from the beach but I’m available for travel worldwide! Check out my travel page to see if I’ll be visiting your town/city soon.

How long have you been shooting?

I’ve been shooting weddings + lifestyle sessions since 2011. I love it even still + more than when I first picked up my camera. 🙂

Do you shoot destination weddings? Will you travel for portrait + anniversary sessions?

Yes, of course! I love to travel and I am passport ready. Just let me know where your wedding is or what location you have in mind for your portraits. Also, check out my travel page for more info + to see if I’ll be visiting your town soon. *Travel fees do apply. Please inquire for a custom quote.

What does your basic wedding collection consist of?

6 hours of coverage, high res edited (color corrected) images via digital download, online proofing gallery plus print release so you can print your photos wherever, whenever.

What if I don’t want to take engagement photos?

Oh no! Will you reconsider? 🙂 Engagement photos are some of my favorite sessions to photograph and here’s why: (1.) I’ll get to know you and your love before the big day (2.) you’ll get to see how I work…so no surprises come day of plus you’ll already be super comfy in front of my camera and know what to expect when the day comes (3.) you’ll get tons of extra photos with you and bae (4.) you’ll have so much fun! (5.) Did I already mention I LOVE shooting engagement sessions? 🙂

Alright, so if you still don’t want to take engagement photos, I suppose that is fine too. 🙂 If you decide to opt out of receiving complimentary engagement photos (offer available with most packages), your wedding balance from whichever package you choose will still remain the same. Nothing else changes except that you won’t get the additional photos.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

Each package includes one primary photographer and a second photographer whom I trust to shoot my own wedding! Sometimes I will bring on an extra assistant to assist me for weddings with guest count over 200+. Or if you simply just want more photos + coverage, I can arrange to have an additional photographer for you day of for a minimal fee. Please inquire for full package details.

How many hours do you need for portraits and other “events” that take place day of the wedding?

It all depends on how many hours of coverage and what “event” you want covered on your wedding day. When you book a wedding package, I will help put together a photography timeline that fits all of your wedding day needs. Typically for 8 hours of coverage to include getting ready photos + a “first look”…I would request the following:

*bride getting ready photos: require approximately 45 min – 1.5 hours of shooting time
*groom getting ready photos: 45 – 60min
*first look {couple opts to see each other in private/intimate setting pre-ceremony} + optional mini session after “first look”: 15 – 30min
*family portraits {depending on family size}: 20 – 30min
*bridal party portraits: 20 – 30min
*romantics {bride and groom portraits}: 45 – 60min
*reception: 2 – 2.5 hours +

In case of an emergency do you have a backup plan? What if you get sick?

Yes, yes and yes! God forbid that anything tragic happen to me day of your wedding but in case anything ever did, I always have a backup photographer on hand with similar photography style whom I would trust to shoot my own wedding.

Since 2011 when I began shooting weddings (& portraits), I have showed up and photographed every wedding (& session) and pride myself in taking great care of my clients. So rest assured, I will be there even if I happen to get sick or have to hire someone to push me around in a wheelchair all day if I get injured. Ha! 🙂 Your wedding day is important to me and unless something tragic has happened, I will there. *PROMISE*.

Do you have liability insurance? What about backup equipment?

I most certainly do! Yes, I always carry extra backup equipment and so do my associate photographers.

Do you give any discounts?

I have yearly promos + sales on products (i.e., albums, prints, etc.) so make sure to sign up for our newsletter to get in on any special offers. However, I do not offer any discounts for weddings or portraits packages.

Can you just Photoshop that out?

All of my clients know how much I don’t really like spending my time in Photoshop, unless I really, really have to. 🙂 It’s super time consuming so for that reason, I make sure to pay close attention to detail when I’m shooting. If there’s something distracting that’s in the way of the image (i.e., bottle on the ground, random item that doesn’t belong), I will remove it from the frame.

I primarily use Photoshop for extensive retouching and do most of my editing + color correcting in a photo editing software called Lightroom. Of course, if you happen to get a scratch on your face or break out day of your session I will edit that out for you. Otherwise, I like to keep my images looking as “natural” as possible.

Do you need to be fed on the wedding day? When is the best time to feed you?

Yes, please especially for 6+ hours of wedding day coverage. We always come prepared with snacks on hand, but for most of the day, will not have time to step away to eat. If you could prepare 2-3 plates for myself, my associate photographer and assistant (if applicable…depending on which package you choose) during dinner I will love you forever. If for some reason, you will not be able to provide vendor meals, that is okay too. My team and I will need an hour food break to leave the venue to grab something to eat.

I find that the best time for my team and I to sit and eat is before/at the same time your guests sit down to eat because there are usually no events happening at this time. We want to be there to cover all of your events at the reception and by allowing us to sit and eat when your guests eat, we can do the same without any interruptions for at least 30-40 minutes and have a chance to rest for a bit. Plus I’ve noticed that most people don’t like their photos taken while they are eating anyway. 🙂

Do you retouch our photos?

I do very minimal editing however if you happen to have a scratch or break out during your wedding, engagement or lifestyle session, I will edit that out in Photoshop for no extra fee. If you wish for further retouching after the photos have been delivered, retouching fee is $75 per hour. I will further retouch the photos that go into your wedding album or the photos that you choose for your canvas prints at no additional cost.

What is included in your basic lifestyle portrait package?

1 hour of coverage, high res edited (color corrected) images via digital download, online proofing gallery
plus print release so you can print your photos wherever, whenever.:) Please inquire for full package details.

What should I expect during a portrait session?

Expect to have some fun and don’t forget to bring a smile! :)
We’ll chat {I may even attempt to make you laugh}, we’ll walk around
and I’ll direct and position you in areas where the light is most flattering.

Do you offer mini sessions? What is a mini session and what does it include?

Yes, usually during the fall season.

Want to be notified when I post about holiday mini sessions next year? All you have to do is enter your email address HERE and you’ll get an email sent straight to your inbox when mini session dates go live. You’ll also get first dibs on location/date + time slots before registration opens up to the general public. These sessions go fast! And since I usually only offer these once a year, I would encourage you to sign up to get the location + time slot of your choice.

Want more info regarding mini sessions? You can find out everything you need to know about mini sessions via this blog post HERE.

How many images will I receive?

It all depends on how many hours booked and which portrait or wedding package you choose.
A typical hour of shooting yields between 75-100 images on a wedding day. For portraits, roughly 25-50 images.

When will I receive my images?

For engagement or portrait sessions, 2-3 weeks. For weddings, 6-8 weeks. For events, 3-4 weeks.

When I receive my images, will they have your logo on it?

As much as I love my logo, the final images will not be watermarked with my logo on it.

Can you convert an image I received in black and white back to color?

I will typically choose a handful of images to convert from color to black and white.
Unfortunately, if you receive an image in black and white,
I cannot convert back to color.

How many outfits should I bring?

For a 1-2 hour session, you will usually have time to change into 1-3 outfits depending on which package you choose. I would recommend bringing one casual fun outfit and something dressy for the other. Or if you guys like to dress up, bring one outfit that is super fancy, like  going to a “black-tie” event fancy and the other outfit can be a “date-night” type outfit that is still dressy.

Can you help me choose the location of the shoot? How many places can we shoot at?

Yes, of course! I have a permit to shoot in the Santa Monica Mountains and can always recommend some spots to shoot throughout Southern California depending on what you had in mind. We could do an urban shoot, shoot in nature or even do a more intimate in home session. You choose!

I would love to help you do some research and find a unique place for your session but if you know or have access to some really cool spots as well, please do share! Have a special place that you guys like to hang out at? We could definitely shoot there as it would make your photos more fun + memorable. Please keep in mind that some places do require a permit (additional costs/fees are not included in package) so please check with that location/venue in advance to make sure that all fees are taken care of prior to shooting on location.

Also, within a 1-2 hour time frame, we can shoot at up two different locations (depends on which package you choose) assuming they are fairly close in range. If you need some ideas or inspiration, please check out my blog from previous sessions.

What if you are booked on our wedding day?

Please email me at or fill out the contact form and ask about our associate photographer packages.  If our associate photographer is busy that day then I have a list of amazing and talented photographer friends that I can recommend to you as well.

When will I receive my album?

Your album design process + delivery will take anywhere from 2-3 months after your session, event or wedding. But it also depends on how fast you can get the revisions approved and sent back to me with any changes/comments.

Here’s how the album process works:

After you receive your photos, you’ll receive an email within 6-8 weeks to approve/comment on the album design proofs. From there you’ll receive up to 2 more revisions and depending on how long it takes you to get back to me with the changes, will determine how fast you’ll get your album (s) in hand. After final edits have been made + approved, production takes anywhere from 2-3 weeks. From there you’ll receive an email when your album is out for delivery.

Please view the album section for photos and album options + details.

Do you shoot anything other than weddings and engagement sessions?

Yes, of course! When I’m not busy shooting weddings and engagement sessions, I get to photograph the most beautiful families ever. I love shooting family portraits {maternity, babies & newborns…inquire about “The Baby’s First Year Package”}, individual portraits/headshots, boudoir and even special events (first birthday parties, baptisms).

Check out my blog here to view more images of my work or shoot me an email: if you want to see some sample client galleries. If you’re a vendor or creative, I love to collaborate on special projects. Please email me so we can chat further. Can’t wait to hear from you!

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

If you need to reschedule a session, event or pick a new wedding date, please do so right away and make sure to email me with some potential dates so I can try to accommodate as best as possible. You will not be charged any additional fees to reschedule. I typically book sessions 2-3 months out and 12 months + for weddings. So the sooner we can choose a new date for your session the better.

Also, I require 50% retainer to reserve your session, event or wedding which cannot be refunded as I normally get multiple inquiries to shoot on the same day and have to turn down clients. The retainer would go towards that loss in case you need to cancel for some reason. Please refer to the terms in the agreement form before booking if you have any additional questions in the need that you need to cancel a wedding or event.

We are interested in booking you as a photographer for our wedding {event/portrait session}. How do we go about doing this?

Please fill out the contact form or email for availability. You can also view available dates via the calendar on the contact page.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to reserve your date.
The remaining balance will be due two weeks prior to the event.
You will also be required to fill out a client agreement form.

What form of payment do you accept?

Cash, check or credit card.

Can we meet you before we book?

Yes, yes & yes I would love to! I actually prefer that we do to see if we are a good match. We will be spending quite some time together on your wedding day after all, so it’s important that we vibe well together. Let’s schedule a coffee or food date so we can chat about all of your wedding plans. Can’t wait to meet you + bae! XO
