Malibu Editorial Shoot
I’m so happy to be blogging again and even more so to share this Malibu Editorial shoot with you. In case you missed it or haven’t noticed, I launched my new site + brand earlier this week. You can read more about it here. I’m also doing a fun giveaway that you don’t want to miss.
You guys, I have so much work to share starting with this editorial shoot in Malibu. Ruvs contacted me to collaborate on an Indian inspired fashion editorial shoot and I jumped on the opportunity. Look how insanely gorgeous these outfits are…
Stunning right?!? Indian weddings are so lavish and fun! The bride and groom + guests included usually come dressed to impress in the the prettiest + most vibrant pieces. Everyone sure knows how to party + have a good time too. Love it!
I’ve been really into documenting movement lately…
…and also portraits too!
Indian Inspired Fashion Malibu Editorial Shoot
It was a really nice day out from what I can remember. But by the time we were nearing the end of the session, the winds picked up. So of course it got really cold and the clouds started to roll in. I asked these two gorgeous people if they could hang in with me for just 10 more minutes. Just “one more set”, I always say, and it turns into forever. Haha I could shoot all day!
I’m super grateful for clients that trust my vision and go along with my crazy ideas. I find that some of my favorite images are the ones where I push just a little more for that frame and I’m so happy with the end result. Hence, the cliff photos are some of my favorites!
This Indian inspired fashion editorial was so much fun to shoot and definitely sparked creativity. So if you’re just starting out shooting or have been doing this for years now, make sure to carve out some time to just shoot for fun! It’s in those moments where you’ll get to learn + find inspiration again.
